Talented young St Johnstone midfielder Cammy Ballantyne has arrived at Links Park on loan until January.

With the sudden and unexpected departure last week of Patrick Cregg, Manager Stewart Petrie has wasted no time in strengthening his midfield options.

The former Hibs youth joined The Saints in 2015 and has played extensively in their Development League/Reserve setup as well as enjoying a successful loan spell with Lowland League side BSC Glasgow last season.

The 19 year old comes highly recommended and incredibly will join ex-Dundee Utd Cammy Ballantyne on the team line, which will undoubtably lead to some interesting challenges for reporters, commentators, supporters and team mates.
