| Ross joined Montrose in January 2015 from East Fife and his now assistant player manager at Links Park. He started his career with East of Scotland League side Spartans before spending six goal laden seasons at Forfar Athletic, where he played alongside his brother Iain under the guidance of father Dick. Scored six goals for Montrose in season 2014/15 and five last season when he missed only one match. Somewhat a versatile player Ross played at left back, centre half, midfield and upfront for the Gable Endies during season 2015/16. After the retirement of Chris Templeman, Ross played a major part in Montrose reaching the championship play offs scoring nine goals last season including two in the play off semi final against Queen of the South at Links Park. Over 120 appearances for the club and closing in on 25 goals. Now used as an impact substitute. Age 38 | |
