HEGARTY SIGNS EXPERIENCED STOPPER
Montrose FC have signed goalkeeper Alan Fleming from Angus neighbours Arbroath on a one year deal.
The 32 year old met up with his new teammates at the weekend as the Gable Endies pre-season training got underway and he was welcomed to the Club by Assistant Manager John Holt.
Keepers have been a priority over the summer for Manager Paul Hegarty, with both last season's loanees Jordan Millar and Alex Tokarczyk returning to their parent Clubs in April.
Dunfermline born Fleming joined Kelty Hearts from Cowdenbeath in 2005 and spent 9 seasons with the Junior outfit. In 2014, he moved to East Fife for one season before signing for Tom Lumsden's Arbroath in July last year, making over 40 appearances for the Red Lichties.
This brings Hegarty's squad for the coming season to 15 following the recent signing of experienced defender Michael Bolochoweckyj from Clyde.
The Club have also confirmed a second pre-season friendly against Highland League side Deveronvale at Links Park on Friday 1st July with a 7:45pm kick-off.
