MO' FAVOURITE SIGNS ON FOR A SEVENTH SEASON
Fans favourite Terry Masson has extended his contract at Links Park for a seventh season to remain the longest serving player at the Club.
Manager Paul Hegarty has been busy in recent weeks shaping his squad for next season and Masson's dedication and commitment to the Club have clearly impressed the boss.
Hegarty said, "It is extremely rare these days for players to commit to one club for so many years and Terry should be proud of what he has achieved here. He had to overcome a serious injury earlier this season and despite this has played over 20 games for us this term."
The 27 year old joined the Mighty Mo in the summer of 2010 from local junior side Carnoustie Panmure and has scored 18 goals in his 182 appearances.
The midfielder is renowned for his energy, enthusiasm and no-nonsense tackling in the middle of the park, characteristics that have endeared him to the Mo’ faithful over the years.
Terry said, "I have been through a lot of managers and played with a lot of different players in my time here. I have really enjoyed it and love playing for this club. I cannot imagine playing anywhere else."
Masson brings Hegarty's signings for next season to 8 and with discussions ongoing, the gaffer expects to make further announcements in the coming weeks.
