Hegarty Strikes Quickly For Templeman
The 35 year old marksman left Forfar Athletic last week after a 7 year spell during which time he scored 68 goals in 268 appearances.
Gable Endies gaffer Paul Hegarty wasted no time in adding the 6' 5" front man to his youthful squad as he looks for a return to their early season form. Paul said, "I am delighted because experienced players like Chris are few and far between, especially at this stage of the season."
Templeman began his career with Dunfermline in 1997, and after loan spells with Stirling Albion and Dumbarton, joined Brechin in 2001.
He helped the Glebe Park side win the Third Division title in 2002 before a move to Morton in December 2004.
Released by Morton in early 2008, Chris joined East Fife before moving to Angus the following year.
Templeman played against the Mighty Mo earlier in the season in the Petrofac Challenge Cup which Forfar won 1-0. This weekend will see Chris pull on a blue shirt of a slightly darker shade.
