Hegarty Signs Saints Full Back On Loan

Montrose FC have signed youngster Aaron Comrie on an emergency loan from St Johnstone until the middle of January.

The 18 year old right back has been part of the U20 Development Squad at McDiarmid Park since 2014, having previously spent 8 years in the Celtic youth system.

Manager Paul Hegarty is hoping Aaron can help his injury stricken side return to their early season form that seen them concede only 2 goals in 5 home wins.

The young Scot featured in the Saints pre season camp in Northern Ireland having been handed a first-team squad number (#39) in the summer by boss Tommy Wright.

Aaron featured for Montrose against Annan Athletic last night in a re-arranged league fixture at Links Park and he lined up alongside fellow loanee Jordan Millar, who returned to first team action last Saturday.
