Mo Streghthen Defence with New Signing

Montrose FC have signed young ex-Dundee United defender Adam Harwood on a short term contract until January. The 20 year old Northern Irishman will provide cover for a defence that has been depleted recently by injury and suspension. Adam is no stranger to Links Park having spent much of last season with the Gable Endies on loan from the Tannadice club, making 11 appearances. He joined United’s U20’s in 2013 from Irish Premiership side Portadown FC and during his first season won 4 caps for his country in the U19’s European Championship Finals in Belgium. Having been released by United in the summer, Adam has been training with the Links Park outfit and Manager Paul Hegarty has clearly been impressed with the progress made by the youngster. Adam is pictured, being welcomed to the Club by Assistant Manager John Holt.
