BOLO LOAN EXTENDED WITH SHIRE
Montrose FC have extended, until the New Year their short term loan of defender Michael Bolochoweckyj to Lowland League outfit East Stirlingshire.
The 33 year old damaged his Achilles back in April against Forfar Athletic and joined The Shire on a initial short term loan in early November as part of his rehabilitation.
Bolo said, “I am on a return to play strategy, which began with me playing 45 mins for Montrose in a friendly against Forfar West End, then I played 60 mins in my first loan match against Edusport Academy in the league.
“Having got through those two games fine, I played my first full game against Civil Service Strollers and got another 90 mins under my belt against Kelty Hearts in a friendly on Saturday.
“We have won both league games since I arrived at The Shire and the team are doing well. My fitness has improved to a good level again, and we felt that to maintain that and get even sharper, another few games would be beneficial, so the loan has been extended to the end of the year.
“The Shire are a great wee club with great lads, so I was more than happy to return for another few weeks. I will be even happier though when I pull the Mo top back on in the New Year.”
