In a fixture switched to Links Park, the Under 19 sides season got off to a disappointing start in a match ruined by the sending off in the first minute of Montrose centre half Matthew Keogh for what referee Ferguson described as a last man foul.
Montrose did well to hold Raith Rovers to a 1 – 1 half time score with the Gable Endies goal coming from a penalty from SCOTT GORDON. In the second half the full time Raith Rovers came through to win the match by four goals.
