IN CONVERSATION WITH SEAN FLEMING - by Sean Graham - August 2010
Did you enjoy the World Cup
Yeah I thought it was good, not the best there has been but it made up for the normal lack of football over the summer.
Did the best team win?
I think so yeah, it would be either them or germany for me.
What did you make of the vuvuzelas?
Awful! They should never be allowed back.
Would you like to hear them at Links Park?
Not a chance.
What is your favourite away ground?
It has to be Hampden.
Best football chant you have heard in the Third Division?
Its not suitable for daytime reading, it involved a female physio....
What is the best and worse thing about being a footballer?
The best thing is winning and the worst thing is being injured.
What would you change in the game?
I would bring in goal line technology, even though it made a certain game in the World Cup so much better without it!
Do you have any superstitions?
Not really.
What kind of music are you in to?
I'm a big Rat Pack fan, you can't beat a bit of Dean Martin! I doubt it would be allowed in the changing room though.
Favourite Soap?
Eastenders
Favourite Soap babe?
Big Heather from Eastenders -
What a catch!
Tell us why Montrose will have a better season this year?
We have an extra year of experience under our belts and hopefully we will stay clear of long term injuries this season.
If you had the funds to bring any three players in the world to Montrose, who would you buy?
Beckham, Lampard and Drogba. Just give it to Beckham and let him cross it for Drogba and Lampard to get in the box - easy!
If I was a millionaire and wanted to buy Montrose, how would you sell the club to me in one sentence?
(I am not before the phone calls start)
Good facilities and a community club worth investing in.
What would make the game in this country more attractive?
A play off system between the SPL and the first division and a certain number of scottish players in each match day squad.
