DAVID WORRELL (Right back)
Dubliner Worrell joined Montrose in June after his release from Dundee. He signed for Blackburn from Shelbourne in January 1995, but he had not made a first team appearance when he moved to Dundee United in March 1999. The right back made 19 league appearances for the Tannadice club before moving to Plymouth and he went on to make over 150 league and cup appearances for the Home Park club. Capped several times by the Republic of Ireland at under-21 level, he signed for the Rotherham in summer 2005. Released from Millmoor at the end of season 2006/07, following Rotherham's relegation from League One, he signed for Dundee last summer. He made 26 appearances for the Dark Blues, making his competitive debut in a 2-0 win over Livingston on the opening day of the season and his final outing in Dark Blue came in the 3-0 win over Stirling Albion at Dens in April.
