IN CONVERSATION WITH AARON SINCLAIR - August 2010

Did you enjoy the World Cup?

Yes it started off slow with not alot of goals in the 1st few group matches but when it got to the knockout stages it became very good!

Did the best team win?

In the end I think Spain were deserved winners, their tactics were spot on to win matches.

What did you make of the vuvuzelas?

As the tournament progressed they started to get a bit annoying but I’m sure there fun to use.

Would you like to hear them at Links Park?

No I don’t think so, I would just prefer the noise of a singing and cheering crowd.

What is your favourite away ground?

Favourite away ground that I’ve played at has got to be Hampden no others can beat that one I don’t think.

Best football chant you have heard in the Third Division?

There was a funny one I heard at Ochilview Park but I don’t think I could repeat it!

What is the best and worse thing about being a footballer?

The best thing is probably winning on a match day, the worst has to be getting   injuries that stop you from playing!

What would you change in the game?

I don’t think I would change anything, maybe bringing in goal line technology at the highest level.

Do you have any superstitions?

I don’t have a certain one thing I do but if we win one week I will try and copy what I did before the match the following week!

What kind of music are you in to?

A bit of everything really mainly r/n/b and dance.

Favourite Soap?

Got to be Eastenders although Corrie is a close second.

Favourite Soap babe?

Hmm Pat Butcher JOKING. Rosie from Corrie she’s good!

Tell us why Montrose will have a better season this year?

I think all of us have learned from the experience last season and now know what to do to put it right. We have also added a few new faces which I feel has strengthened the squad for this season.

If you had the funds to bring any three players in the world to Montrose, who would you buy?

Torres, Gerrard and Messi. You would only need about 160 Million.

If I was a millionaire and wanted to buy Montrose, how would you sell the club to me in one sentence?

A club with a young squad with all the potential and possibilities ahead in the future
