AWAY TRAVEL
East Stirlingshire
Road: Finding Ochilview Park is relatively simple. Once on the M876 leave at Junction 2 and follow the A88 towards Stenhousemuir. After about three quarters of a mile turn right into Tryst Road. The ground is down the bottom of this road on the left. It is not the easiest ground to spot as it has no large floodlights that can be seen from a distance. Annoyingly there are 'football traffic' signs around the area . . . Ignore them! If you follow them you will eventually end up at Falkirk's ground. Street parking is available near the ground.
Public Transport: If you want to use public transport to get to the match then your best bet is to get a train in Montrose, either the 11:14 or the 12:17, to Stirling. Once in Stirling you can then get a local service train to Larbert at 12:51 or 13:51 depending on what train you get. Journey time from Stirling to Larbert is about 10 minutes. Larbert train station is about a half a mile away from the ground. On arriving at the station, exit the station via the main exit (you'll walk past the booking office which is up the stairs at street level) and then straight down Main Street in a generally Eastwards direction (past the Esso garage at the bottom of the dip), then past the Dobbie Hall. Then turn left at Tryst Road and first right into Gladstone Road. All-in-all, the ground is about three-quarters of a mile from the station. It should take around 12-15 minutes to walk. For coming home you can catch trains at 17:18, 17:23, 17:31, 17:43 and 17:47 from Larbert for Stirling. These arrive at Stirling at 17:27, 17:33, 17:41, 17:53 and 17:58 respectively. From Stirling you can catch the 18:07 back to Montrose with you getting home at 19:48.
