Gordon Crammond
Gordon arrived on a free transfer from Dundee at the end of season 1969/69. He went on to play over 100 games for the Gable Endies before moving to St Johnstone for £10,000 in 1974. During his spell at Links Park this diminutive yet hard tackling left sided player played a huge role in turning roung the fortunes of Montrose. He won player of the year in 1971 and played in the memorable early '70's cup encounters with Clyde, Hamilton Accies and Dundee. Acclaimed by Montrose fans for his consistent skill and determination. Gordon is sadly no longer around to watch the game he graced so well.
